Don’t you just love those days were you don’t have to be anywhere or do anything, if you don’t want to? Well that is what yesterday was, so I decided to visit Boots and TK Maxx at a local retail park. I mean, what better way to spend your time, eh?
Obviously I didn’t actually need anything, but I aren’t one to pass up a bargain.
Boots have quite a few offers on at the moment, one being 3 for 2 on a lot of brands. Unfortunately though you can’t mix and match across brands, which is a bit of a pain, but it didn’t stop me!
Here is the low down on what I bought (all from Max Factor):
Excess Shimmer in Copper
This reminded me highly of Maybelline’s Colour Tattoo shadows, and I love those, so I thought I would try this lovely copper coloured shadow for a change.
Crème Puff Blush in Alluring Rose
After reading a review on this stunning marbled blusher, I couldn’t resist when I saw it was in stock, I’ll let you know how I get on!
Wild Shadow Pencil Number 05
Having recently delved into the world of eye shadow and blending, I bought this little number with a hope to using it as an eyeliner to blend with eye shadows I already have.
Now, onto my TK Maxx catch.
I don’t know about you but when I go to TK Maxx, I make a beeline for the cosmetic stand. Yesterday was no exception, and boy was I happy I went over there first!
I always usually find something in this shop, they never disappoint. Yesterday though, I did not expect to find a Too Faced Ross and Rachel Bronzer…!
There was two on the shelf, and obviously I picked them both up – I aren’t greedy – I bought it for my sister.
It was priced at just £9.99 which considering they retail at £28, is a steal!
I shall let you know what I think to this beautiful product when I’ve had chance to try it.
Have you found any amazing catches in TK Maxx recently?
